up hilldown hill

Looking up and down the same hill. Battery and peddling killer little hills on the A466 going towards Monmouth in Wales. 200 to 300 foot a time taking electric assisted speed down to 7 mph and into the area of greatest battery drain. It's best to get off and walk edging the bike on with a low throttle to save pushing the 13 kg in the pannier.

cafe recharge

Coffee shop in Monmouth doubles up as office and recharging centre -
two hours, 2p of electricity and £5 of tea.
