Richard Douthwaite a contemporary economist and co-founder of Feasta. His books include "The Growth Illusion" (1992), "Short Circuit" (1996) and the "Ecology of Money" (1999). Wikipedia entry.

Emer O'Siochru of EOS Architects, Dublin, is an eco architect and sustainable planning and development consultant. She is an Executive Committee member of Feasta, member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Sustainability Task Force, and a Council Member of the Consumers' Association of Ireland.

Will Howard is experienced both as a campaigner and in new media and lives in Machynlleth, Wales. He worked in the 1980's for CND and then as National Coordinator of the broad based UK Nuclear FREEZE. His new media company produced The Carbon Gym for the Centre for Alternative Technology.

Nicola Creighton lectures in German Studies and teaches on the MSc for Leadership in Sustainable Development at Queens University Belfast. She writes features on sustainability for SCOPE magazine and is an active member of Belfast Green Action.

Mike Thomas is a retired civil engineer based in Swindon and the Coordinator of a small international network developed from the Norwegian movement Future in Our Hands encouraging values that support international sustainable development and a simpler way of life for the affluent.

Molly Scott Cato is a green economist senior lecturer in social economy at Cardiff School of Management. She is also economics speaker for the England and Wales Green Party and has published widely in areas concerned with the sustainable economy and co-operatives.

James Bruges Architect and author of The Little Earth Book lives in Bristol. He is a member of the Quaker Economic Issues Group, works with Gandhian NGOs in South India and Trustee of Leigh Court Farm, supplying Farmers Market and distributing 400 vegetable boxes.

Brian Davey trained as an economist but has worked mostly in the Nottingham community and voluntary sector. He is currently the development worker for a mental health project with a community organic garden.

Caroline Whyte manages the Feasta website and is particularly interested in the world's financial system. She recently completed a masters in ecological economics in Västerås, Sweden, and for her thesis she did an analysis and critique of central banking.

David Korowicz is a physicist based in Dublin, with diverse interests, especially society-ecosystem risk management.

David Healy is a Green Party Councillor in Fingal County Council, with a background in environmental science and a particular interest in transport and climate change issues.
